A song for childhood by OmahaNebraska A song for childhood by OmahaNebraska
When I saw my little sister in this outfit dancing on the stone fireplace I knew exactly what to photograph.

whatever it is keep drinking it, and keep the creativity flowing,
it's scary to think where your art will take you, you seem to be chasing yourself with a great determination.

They claim it's chlorine, but I often think it may be lithium :noes: we're a bunch of nutcases, that's for sure.

but, in a more serious tone :giggle: thank you very much :) this is one of my personal favorites from my gallery, but it's probably one of the less popular images.

It's nice to know that someone else sees something in it.

I really think you would love screenprinting. Of course, it would not be as instant gratification as digital work.

I know :cries: I'm very impatient. Thus why I rarely upload any 120 film. it takes FOREVER to get it back -______-

but I think it would be cool. My bio mother has a degree in printing processes :O or something bizarre like that. I used to go to school with her and they had all the GIGANTIC machines that printed in like CMYK sequence and stuff. it was neat.

You would dig it for sure!
But in todays fast world, will there be printmakers in the future?

I mean, almost everything is cheaper to outsource.

But printmaking is very much about process, so, I think it will survive. But I bet film photography has really declined!

well when america goes into revolution in november and I rise up as grand empress I will immediatly stop outsourcing and demand more printers D:<<<<<<

film is going to dissapear completely soon :( kodak is giving up on it, basically. If kodak yanks it, so will everyone else.

It will still be available. I imagine film processing may go up, as it will be less in demand?

I don't blame you the contrast between her dress, the ruby red shoes (:P) and the then cold hard fireplace is exceptional. Great picture

he hee. we had those shoes too when my girl was small -- she wore them as part of a ladybug costume ^^

far be it from me to question someone's own costumery ^^ its a beautiful picture too, I love how you always get this feeling of innocence and scratchy grittyness to blend so well.
